All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is our merciful Father and the source of all comfort. He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us. – 2 Corinthians 1:3-4
The Comfort House will provide transitional housing for families in Hancock County; families that have lost their home due to flood or fire, foreclosure or eviction, or anything in between. Thanks to a grant we were awarded from the county commissioners through ARPA funds, this ministry will launch in the fall of 2023 as we transform the parsonage at our Philly Campus into The Comfort House. The renovation work has already begun to turn this single family home that had been relegated to storage space for the past decade into a duplex that will provide a home for our guests in need. Click

We are excited about this ministry and humbled by the opportunity to partner with and serve our community. The Comfort House will provide safety, comfort, and dignity for these families and help them connect with the resources in our county so they can transition into permanent housing.
